"We have learned that, though many things that men learn might be
"true," they are unlikely to be "Truth." The only truth is that which
sets men free - and what sets men free is the Word of God."
Living Faith Apostolic
Church was started in 1975 with Bishop Edgar A. Posey as founder and
pastor. The church began with only five members, but over the years has
experienced not rowth in membership,
but also in ministry. Currently, the church broadcast weekly on radio
and television stations in the Columbus area, the U.S.A, and the world.
Under the leadership of now Bishop Posey and First Lady Tracey Posey,
Living Faith has maintained a stable presence in the Columbus
community. Through its development arm, MiraCit, the church has taken
bold steps to carry out its vision - to build a "model city within a
city" - where Christ is the focus. Housing projects include Hegemon
Crest Phase I and II, Mariemont Place, the Mock Road apartments,
Seniors at Hegemon elderly housing complex, FCI Academy, a K-12
Community School, Green View Estates, the first "green" community in
Columbus, Ohio, Faith Center Commercial Plaza.

Other properties and projects include the FCI Resource Center and the
FCI, Too! Childcare Center. At the heart of the vision, however, lies
Faith Center International, Phase 1 of which

is now complete. The
38,000 sq. ft. multipurpose facility features state-of-the art
classroom and office space, a technology lab, to accommodate FCI
Academy, as well as an audio-video recording suite, and beautiful
auditorium.
Future phases will complete the vision which includes a 5,000 seat
sanctuary, banquet hall, and expanded
educational and recreational facility. Dr. Posey's
far-reaching ministry has taken him to minister in such places as
Israel, Venezuela, Italy, England, Germany, France, Dominican Republic
to name a few. The church's vision and mission is global in focus,
reaching out to people from all nations, races, and cultures with God's
word, that we may be fit for His "spiritual kingdom.” |
